I find that I have many different goals and preferences when it comes to art. As such, I find that my sources of inspiration change constantly. The only thing that remains consistent is my desire to tell a story, everything else comes second and everything is done to serve that purpose. Sometimes I’m trying to express a certain feeling, sometimes it’s merely a concept for a character, and sometimes it’s something that will hopefully one day be used in service of a story being told. For this piece the goal is to evoke the feeling of being in an enclosed space. That feeling when you’re stuck in a spot and you’re so sick of it you’d rather it be anywhere else so you close your eyes, cover your head and ignore everything.
