My work brings internal emotions into a 3D perspective, creating a fictional emotional amusement park, that allows viewers to visually witness the emotional rollercoasters that we've all been through in our lives.

Inspired by Joseph Cornell's work, the project modelled after his collage box series:  the idea of boxing emotions seemed very fitting to the theme of emotional space. The use of mixed media serves as a beneficial factor as integrating collage, paint, 3D objects, etc. allows for a complex visual field. Having an interest in being an art director, this project allowed me to create a visual space while incorporating factors that related to the themes.

The addition of the invitation and virtual tour page also corresponds with my interest in being an art director. I feel that by creating these additions they play into the tale of the emotional theme park, it allows viewers to pretend like this is a real place that they can visit, just like their emotions.
